SALES TAX

State and local sales tax rates and applications are determined based on the delivery destination of the products. All applicable taxes will be automatically applied at checkout and collected from the customer at the time of purchase. Karma Beachwear guarantees that the customer will not be required to pay additional taxes upon delivery.

These terms and conditions are subject to change, as the taxation of online transactions is constantly evolving. Karma Beachwear strives to comply with applicable state and local tax laws and continues to monitor and update its tax policies as those laws change.

SHIPPING

Policy applied to all shipments

Orders placed after 12 p.m. EST or on Saturdays, Sundays, or holidays are shipped the next business day.

All business days included in this policy refer to “Monday-Friday.” Saturdays, Sundays, or holidays are not included.

All orders with a physical address will be shipped with UPS or USPS.

The estimated delivery time shown at checkout is an estimate provided by the carrier based on the delivery address. The exact delivery time may vary and depends on the carrier, weather, and geopolitical conditions.

Address Modifications:

To request a change of address or a complete cancellation of an order, please contact us as soon as possible by completing this form via email at info@karmabeachwear.com and indicating the full and detailed new address. Please note that this request must be made from the same email address with which you made the purchase.

Our Customer Service team will make every effort to correct the delivery address and will keep you informed. However, this will always depend on the status of the order, and Karma Beachwear cannot guarantee that the change will be applied correctly

Within 1 to 2 business days, our Customer Service team will confirm, depending on the order status, whether your request was completed successfully.

DELIVERIES

The customer is solely responsible for the delivery address. Karma Beachwear is not responsible if an order cannot be delivered or if it is delivered to an incorrect address due to incorrect information provided by the customer.

The customer may file claims for an undelivered or lost package up to 14 days after shipment, that is, from the moment the carrier received it. After that, no claims will be accepted and Karma Beachwear is not responsible.

In the case of orders declared as “delivered” by the carrier to the correct delivery address, Karma Beachwear is not responsible if the carrier provides proof of delivery (photo or signature). If the carrier does not provide proof of delivery, Karma Beachwear will assume responsibility and will agree with the customer whether to refund the amount or resend the order.

INCONVENIENCES FOR ORDER DELIVERY

A) If the order cannot be delivered for reasons

of the customer:

Address changes or corrections within the same city have no additional cost if the package has not arrived after all delivery attempts by the shipping company.

Address changes to different cities have an additional charge of $30 USD that the customer must pay to receive the order. Otherwise, the package will be abandoned by the carrier, and Karma Beachwear will not be responsible nor will it reimburse the customer.
Address changes to different countries are not available due to customs and carrier policies. The customer must provide an address within the same country of origin. Otherwise, the package will be abandoned by the carrier, and Karma Beachwear is not responsible or will not refund the customer.

If the shipping information is incorrect or incomplete, due to no one being available to receive the package at the address, or customs requests more information from the customer, Karma Beachwear will attempt to contact the customer to change the address or establish a solution to deliver the order.

However, if the customer is not reachable or does not respond in a timely manner, and either the carrier or the Customs Department ends up retaining or abandoning the package, Karma Beachwear is not responsible for the loss of the package, and the customer will not be refunded or reshipped

The time to resolve the aforementioned issues is usually about 3 business days. However, this depends entirely on the carrier and the Customs Department. If the customer provides the information after any of the third parties involved has made a final determination, Karma Beachwear is not responsible for the loss of the package.

B) If the order is not delivered for reasons beyond the customer’s control, within a period of thirty (30) calendar days, the customer may request cancellation and a full refund (including shipping costs) at info@karmabeachwear.com Once the request is sent, Karma Beachwear will issue the refund within a period of no more than 14 days.

All refunds will be issued directly to the credit card used by the customer to place the order. Please note that, once the refund has been issued, it may take the bank up to 30 days to process the card balance.

ORDER STATUS

From the moment the payment is approved, the customer will receive several emails indicating the status of the order:

Order confirmation email: once the payment has been approved.

Shipping confirmation email: when the order is ready to be picked up by the carrier.

Shipment on the way email: when the order is already routed to be delivered by the carrier.

Order delivered email: once the order has been reported as delivered by the carrier. These last 3 emails contain the carrier and the tracking number to follow the shipment.
